On November 22nd, Peloton’s Chris Reichhelm spent the day with the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub Awardees. Chris and the awardees held a day-long discussion on what it means to be a talent magnet, identifying innovative ways of attracting and retaining high quality talent. The discussion included the importance of culture, understanding your company’s ecosystem and the need for a distinct and creative recruitment process.
For those unfamiliar, the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Enterprise Hub Awardees represent some of the country’s most promising engineering entrepreneurs. The Enterprise Hub supports new entrepreneurs with (pre-)seed funding, bespoke mentoring and training from Academy Fellows. Mentoring is provided by some of the country’s most successful entrepreneurs and engineers in the country, including Mike Lynch OBE, Sir Robin Saxby, Anne Glover CBE and Ian Shott CBE.
